Pseudo Auer rods
Auerse rods are traditionally associated with (acute) malignancies of the myeloid lineage. However, in very rare cases, they can also occur in lymphoid malignancies, most commonly described in plasma cell dyscrasias. Knowledge of the mechanism of origin and clinical relevance is limited, but presumably they rely on crystallization of lysosomal enzymes.
