Lymphocyte
Resting lymphocytes are small cells with little to no dark blue cytoplasm and usually have no granules. The nucleus has a coarse structure and is on average slightly larger than a normal erythrocyte. Lymphocytes are important effectors of acquired defense. Morphologically, no reliable distinction can be made between T and B lymphocytes.
