This WPC scatter shows a population suspicious for blasts . Blasts have relatively few lipids in their cell membrane. As a result, they are less sensitive to the lysing reagent of the WPC channel and remain largely intact during analysis. The limited membrane permeabilization leads to a relatively low fluorescence intensity, while the measured cell volume remains high.
